Wow it's basically November...

I can't believe Halloween is days away, summer is over and Christmas shopping is on it's way! We have kept VERY busy this month but I've vowed to be a big Vegg after Halloween and stay home cooking, and eating, and lounging on the couch with my boys. So I'll start off with my fav topic Ryder! He's 13 months now and still not officially walking! He's taken wobbly steps, he stands independently, if he has a death grip on the very tip of your pinky he'll walk acrossed the room but still no running around yet. His official first word was "UH-OH!". Which I think says a lot! That's the first word that he has used and seems to understand the meaning of. "Dada" is the close 2nd. He does a funny arm pump when you chant " Go Beavers, Go Beavers!" and can show you your nose and mouth. He likes to tickle you and is way too good at it, and to wrestle and hang with his Dogs. He's been wreaking havoc on a Music and Movement class and Library time and seems to really enjoy both! We did a day trip to the coast yesterday and did he love the beach! He was SO sandy but had a great time and chowed halibut and chowder. We also snuck off to Las Vegas again while Adam was Elk hunting, so he was able to hang with his Aunt Nat and Uncle Nate, hit the pool, play in the sunshine and try some gourmet new foods (Nate and Nat always spoil us!). Elk hunting turned into a Bear death and the bringing home of a Land Cruiser (?! my life with Adam ;). So hello Bear rug and goodbye rental house... or so we hoped. Our closing date on our new house was set for the 25th which has come and gone. The bank filed an extension so we have a new "tentative closing date" of Nov. 29th. Short Sale's are long and complicated but we are hopeful that we will laugh about the waiting process a year from now. It'll make us tough! I have hope that we will celebrate Christmas in the new house together. Pumpkin patching and pumpkin carving with Ryder's cousins means it's almost Halloween! One of my favorite Kaylie lines ever came the other night when we were all pumpkin carving together and she asked her Dad to carve her a "scary pumpkin". Logan carved and carved and triumphantly showed to Kaylie, asking "if it was scary enough?" Kaylie answered " Dad!! You have to fix it! It has diamond eyes, and everyone know's diamonds are cute!" Haha! We cracked up! Silly girl! So I'll have to get some pictures up soon, but as everyone know's nap's are never long enough :) Happy Haunting all, actually Adam wants me to change that to Happy Hunting! It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Oh hello fall...

We have been super busy this late summer and fall preparing to make one of two moves after selling our little house. I was really surprised how emotional it was to leave our first little house as a family behind. We had a lot of first's in our house and it once it was empty is was a little sad to say goodbye.

So now we are in a rental house until our new house is ready and we eagerly await settling into our new house. It's been a lot of change and a lot of work but we are so excited!

We also had a great time visiting an apple orchard / pumpkin patch with our little nephew today and snapped some fun pic's of those silly boys-

Ready for some fall fun! Hope you all are enjoying your sunny fall weekend!

Our baby is 1!

Somehow our tiny little baby is 1 today! I really can't believe it! He has changed our lives is so many amazing ways and I just don't know how we lived before him. He's challenged us, made us better, and showed us a level of love that is just insane. We are obsessed with this crazy little turkey :) We celebrated our little dude Sunday with an Airplane themed birthday party. (Fair warning this is going to be ridiculous!)

He was a little disinterested in the cake and did more smashing than eating, which was fine by me! He was mostly ready to get out of his highchair and play!
Adam and Colton! So Adam makes a horrible blonde come to find out! Haha! Adam and Debbie painted this fun party prop for us and did an amazing job! We had a lot of fun taking pic's and laughing.
A friend from high school, Kerry Modin made the cake and cupcakes and they tasted as good as they looked! Thank you Kerry!
My sweet little brown eye'd baby boy :) Who's not so much a baby anymore :(
"I Mustache you how the party is going so far?" Haha! He has better facial hair than his Dad!
Ryder seemed to really love his wagon! and shared a ride (or ten) with his cousin Tatum.

I love my Aunt Rach and Uncle Colton! Even though we go a little bit between seeing these two he always enjoys his time with them.
 Grampy :)
He's looking for some whiskers to play with and tug! Love my Grammy and Grampy!
Great Grandpa and me. See Grandpa I'm getting a tooth... right here!

 Aunt Butt!
 Some decoration

Tatum was totally willing to show the Ryder the ropes on how to eat a cupcake. They where so cute together!
Adam made Ryder this plane! We love that crafty Dad!
Uncle Colton taking Ry for another spin
 Uncle Dave
 Ryder and Grandma Debbie loves
Kael and Ryder giving each other some skin! These guys are about 8 weeks apart, so Kael will be gearing up for all of this Birthday fun soon!
 Aunt K!!! Love you!
He was a little unsure... everybody looking and signing "Mom, what's going on here?"
 Aunt Butt makes dinner fun!
There it is, he has had sugar now! Haha and I'm reaching for the water glass!

Love bouncing with my Papa Scott!
 Jacob and Logan!

Dad was a good present opener
Within 5 minutes he was trying to figure out how to Bonsai out of the wagon, or stand and ride... Boys!

He reminded me SO much of Adam when we gave him the wagon, he had to check it out, see how it worked, what it was made out of. So his Dad's son!
"Am I doing it right Uncle Logan?"
Well that's our big day in way too many pictures! We loved having family to celebrate and love up on our little guy and he sure loved them right back. We are so lucky to have such a great group of people surrounding him as he grows. We love you all and thank you for partying with us!

From September 4th 2012

To 2013

We loved you instantly and enormously. Watching you grow has been too amazing for words, and the very best thing that either one of us has gotten the joy to do. " In the Green of the grass... in the smell of the sea...in the clouds floating by...at the top of a tree... in the sound crickets make at the end of the day...."you are loved, you are loved, you are loved," they all say"
