And they're off!!!

My sis and Nate are on their way! The Mini van left for the road trip today! Happy trails you two! Can't wait to see all your pictures when you get home!

Summer house projects are coming to a close!

Adam has been working his butt off roofing our house and the end is in site, and just in time for bow hunting! I don't think Adam has ever looked so forward to a weekend. The last couple of days Nate and Cutter have been his major roofing guys, which has made for some long hot hours! Nate has been such an amazing addition to our family, we are so grateful for all of his help the last few days. We finally have our address numbers up, (when the roofing was being delivered we kind of forgot how helpful an address would be!) a painted house, and a most of a roof over our heads, life is sweet!

Let's spruce this place up a bit....

We have been putting in hours on our tiny little house, giving it a bit of a face lift. We have just completed paint and are now working on ripping off the roof to replace it (Literally right now I hear pure destruction as Adam and Scotty are demoing the car port) We also removed a huge brick planter from in front of our house and that empty hole will be filled in with concrete. Adam has been really working his butt off and I couldn't be more thankful or proud. Tomorrow we will be hosting a little roof party where a couple of friends are going to help with removing our roof. We have amazing friends who are actually willing to spend a Friday night of theirs to help us. Hopefully a little food and drink will ease the sting of manual labor on Friday (SUMMER!) night! We feel very fortunate to have some wonderful helping hands!
