Wow it's basically November...
I can't believe Halloween is days away, summer is over and Christmas shopping is on it's way! We have kept VERY busy this month but I've vowed to be a big Vegg after Halloween and stay home cooking, and eating, and lounging on the couch with my boys. So I'll start off with my fav topic Ryder! He's 13 months now and still not officially walking! He's taken wobbly steps, he stands independently, if he has a death grip on the very tip of your pinky he'll walk acrossed the room but still no running around yet. His official first word was "UH-OH!". Which I think says a lot! That's the first word that he has used and seems to understand the meaning of. "Dada" is the close 2nd. He does a funny arm pump when you chant " Go Beavers, Go Beavers!" and can show you your nose and mouth. He likes to tickle you and is way too good at it, and to wrestle and hang with his Dogs. He's been wreaking havoc on a Music and Movement class and Library time and seems to really enjoy both! We did a day trip to the coast yesterday and did he love the beach! He was SO sandy but had a great time and chowed halibut and chowder. We also snuck off to Las Vegas again while Adam was Elk hunting, so he was able to hang with his Aunt Nat and Uncle Nate, hit the pool, play in the sunshine and try some gourmet new foods (Nate and Nat always spoil us!). Elk hunting turned into a Bear death and the bringing home of a Land Cruiser (?! my life with Adam ;). So hello Bear rug and goodbye rental house... or so we hoped. Our closing date on our new house was set for the 25th which has come and gone. The bank filed an extension so we have a new "tentative closing date" of Nov. 29th. Short Sale's are long and complicated but we are hopeful that we will laugh about the waiting process a year from now. It'll make us tough! I have hope that we will celebrate Christmas in the new house together. Pumpkin patching and pumpkin carving with Ryder's cousins means it's almost Halloween! One of my favorite Kaylie lines ever came the other night when we were all pumpkin carving together and she asked her Dad to carve her a "scary pumpkin". Logan carved and carved and triumphantly showed to Kaylie, asking "if it was scary enough?" Kaylie answered " Dad!! You have to fix it! It has diamond eyes, and everyone know's diamonds are cute!" Haha! We cracked up! Silly girl! So I'll have to get some pictures up soon, but as everyone know's nap's are never long enough :) Happy Haunting all, actually Adam wants me to change that to Happy Hunting! It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Oh hello fall...
We have been super busy this late summer and fall preparing to make one of two moves after selling our little house. I was really surprised how emotional it was to leave our first little house as a family behind. We had a lot of first's in our house and it once it was empty is was a little sad to say goodbye.
So now we are in a rental house until our new house is ready and we eagerly await settling into our new house. It's been a lot of change and a lot of work but we are so excited!
We also had a great time visiting an apple orchard / pumpkin patch with our little nephew today and snapped some fun pic's of those silly boys-
Ready for some fall fun! Hope you all are enjoying your sunny fall weekend!
