Baby Ryder

We got Ryder's Newborn baby picture's back here's a little flashback of Ryder at 2 weeks old-



Happy 3 months to you :)

Our sweet little boy will be 3 months old tomorrow and Mama is heading back to work :( He'll have a good time hanging with Grandma Tammy and his dear old Dad while I'm working and missing him. So Ryder at 3 months is holding his head up really well, giggling, still loves being outside even when it's chilly (he gets all bundled and is all smiles), he loves hanging in the front pack  (our friend Kara let us borrow until he's big enough to enjoy his Ergo again),going to the grocery store, neck kisses from Dad, basically anything having to do with his Dad, Christmas music, and being read to is still a baby favorite. His not so favorite things are nap time, bath time (he used to love it!), getting in his car seat, and oh did I say nap time! Our day time naps have been a work to say the least but hopefully it will get better soon. At 3 months he is 15 pounds, wearing 6-9 month clothing.

Little Turkey

Our little Turkey slept through the night for the first time last night! At exactly 11 weeks old he slept from 7:30 until 7:22 this morning! We know it's possible now we just have to make it a habit :) Oh and I need to quit going into his room every hour to make sure he's breathing and enjoy the sleep. Crazy Mama!

Big Bruiser

 

Our big boy is 2 months old and at his Doc appointment he was 13lbs 10oz's and just shy of 24 in. long! He is in the 75th percentile for weight,length, and his head. His size has earned him some nick names- Big Bruiser, Big Bubba, Big Ryder basically add the word big to anything and that works as a nickname for our little chunk. He's grown out of his 3 month cloths and 3-6 fit perfect if not a little snug. At 2 months he likes looking at Dad's Elk horn's,being outside, soaking in his bath, reading books and being talked to, and having his cheeks pinched and tickled. Ryder is taking to our transition into a little bit of schedule really well, he likes a routine. He sleeps a 5 hour stretch, and then 2, 3 hour stretches which is heaven for this Mama. He's a pretty cool little guy as far as we are concerned!

Nov. 4th 2 months old :) I love being outside and looking at the fall leaves :)

 

I've got one more month off with Ryder and then it's back to work, and I'm cherishing every moment. He's such a sweet happy boy and I can't believe how time is flying!



Seven

Vegas baby!

 There was a really nice club house for Ryder to hang in and stay safe from too much sun :) He loved sporting these shades and was too cute in them if you ask me. We did so much Ryder shopping I doubt if he'll ever be able to wear it all but there was so much in Vegas I just couldn't stop.

 We were able to hang poolside everyday! Awesome Aunt Nat and Uncle Nate

 

 We made a shirt for Ryder to wear home to greet Dad with! It listed hobbies on the back that Adam does ie- "Adventure blanket making" "Bow hunting" and on the front "My Dad is pretty much Awesome" :) We sure missed him

 

Babies 1st Airplane ride

*Here is a little late entry I started and never actually posted (Ryder is a sweet little disrtaction) Halloween pic's to come :)Ryder is now 7 weeks nearly 13 pounds and as sweet as ever :) We had our big first vacation and plane ride which I was super nervous about, but went great! Ryder is great little traveler and loved all of the lights and water fixtures in Vegas. There was plenty for him to take in and he was snuggled plenty by his Aunt Nat and Uncle Nate. Everyone was so happy to care for him that I had time to have a Pedicure, enjoy some time by the pool, and nap in a hammock in the sun. It was awesome and so relaxing. We also ate some of the most AMAZING food courtesy of Nate and Natalie's great dinning suggestions, and we had dessert every night!

Meanwhile back in Oregon...

 

The big sheep hunt resulted in this nice kill and a great time! Good job boys!

Hitting the road!

Between Adam's hunting trip and our Vegas vacation we are enjoying some travels this fall! It's been a busy time since Adam has left, we are fighting Ryder's first cold:( but doing it with style and a first smile! This sweet little boy can sneeze out a mess and look up at me with a big old smile, like he's saying don't worry Mama I'm tough, this cold isn't so bad:) I swear he's tougher than I am! I've been so bad about letting him sleep with me, but he's so snuggely! I've gotten a picture (or 2!) every morning for Adam. Here are some of the pic's we've taken since Dad has been gone...

Getting hitched and getting BIG!

We were so happy to get to celebrate Colton and Rachel becoming Husband and wife! It was a perfect fall day and those two looked so happy and so beautiful. Ryder loves his Aunt Rachel and Uncle Colton :)

A wedding just isn't a wedding without Scotty breaking out some of his killer dance moves! It was an awesome party after the ceremony.

This little family had a great time! Ryder pretty much slept through, well everything! I think this is the most he's slept ever! He even snoozed through a 3 person slow dance with me and his Dad.

This might just be a Mama talking but this guy was looking pretty dapper and he hadn't even left the changing table yet! Even though he's a boy he is a blast to dress up(I'm sure Adam is cringing right now)!! Speaking of a Mama talking, I was broken in right at this our first big event and outing- I held my breath and squeezed into an old skirt and top when I realized how hard it would be to feed my little guy in the flowy dress I had picked out for the big day. My skirt had a white and black print and the top was super easy access for our frequent eater. I was also so excited that I had found something that would fit Ryder and be kind of dressed up like his Dad was going to be. I swear as soon as I put it on him I was the quickest, most careful diaper changer of a boy that anyone has ever seen! All was going great, we were both dressed and ready for a couple of family pic's with the wedding party when I heard a rumble. Now this guy can definitely ruin a diaper but even at his worst he hadn't graduated to ruining outfits.... until that very moment, we were heading out for pictures. I looked down and saw that he had also christened me with what couldn't be contained!My stain was on the white part of the print! Oh no! I didn't want to hold up the pre-wedding prep, and while I've learned enough to know to pack extra cloths for him, I never thought in a million years to pack for me too! Thank god for Rachel's sisters and sister-in-law because they suggested hitting the stains with a baby wipe ("baby wipes get out anything") and following with a little sink wash and following with a blow dryer. You couldn't tell that anything had ever happened when we were done and we made it with plenty of time for pictures. Welcome to motherhood!

Ryder is also 1 month old today! Everyday I say I can't wait until he can tell me what he needs, and eat meat and potato's followed by I want him to stay a tiny little snugly baby forever! I can't believe it's already been a month. He was a whopping 10lbs 4.5 oz's today, up 1 pound in a week! Still eating non-stop and being handsome as ever. I swear he has baby insomnia because he spends so much time alert and wiggling.

 He's finally asleep!!

I also got back some pictures from a great friend and photographer who took pictures of our delivery. This might sound crazy to some of you but they were all very G rated and totally amazing! I really recommend capturing the first moments of your baby's life (and all of the hard work to get them here!) Here are a couple of my favorites, and check out Nancy Alene photography! I told you I did the ugly cry! Greatest day of my life. There isn't a word for the amount of love and happiness Ryder has brought to our lives in just 1 short month.
